We partner with Hadithi Crafts, a Community Based Organization located just a few minutes away from Zawadisha HQ. Their mission is to lift people out of poverty and take pressure off the land and wildlife which people in Tsavo share their homes with.
By buying these baskets, you are helping female artisans in Tsavo to a livelihood. Hadithi Crafts supports over 1800 women from artisan groups by providing a market for their handmade crafts. They also assist the groups with raw materials, trainings in craft skills and other empowering workshops that are facilitated by Zawadisha's team of Peer Educators.
Together we are helping women with a sustainable opportunity to earn their livelihood.
