Traditional East African Kikoys

Kikoy is a Swahili word for wrap and they are traditionally worn by men along the coast of East Africa, but that doesn't mean that you can't use it as a beach towel, scarf, wrap, blanket, tablecloth, or cape.

These kikoys are handwoven in a small workshop in Zanzibar where talented weavers create only a limited number of each design and color. This is one of the many finds from our trips to Kenya.
